On November 27 2025, please join us and our co-hosts for a side event: Bridging Research Futures: Canada–South Africa Collaboration for Emerging Scholars. The session will bring together leading Research Chairs from the Universities of Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Ottawa showcasing how innovative partnerships strengthen the training of new and emerging researchers.
This session will explore how collaborative research networks like OpenAIR connecting researchers across 20+ African countries and Canada, can extend global commitments to inclusive innovation, sustainable development, and climate action beyond 2025.
